Executive Functions tests is a set of tests measuring higher-level cognitive abilities that are critical for controlling and regulating our actions and decisions in all type of contexts of our life. These functions are important for performing activities such as planning, organizing, strategizing, paying attention to and remembering details, and managing time and space. Executive Functions consists of three different tests: Tower Test, Color Word, and Card Sorting. While all the tests separately offers valuable insights of parts of your executive functioning capabilities, the tests complement each other and create a comprehensive view of an individual’s higher-level cognitive abilities.

The Analytics tests are a series of adaptive tests, based on Item Response Theory (IRT), meaning the difficulty level of the questions is dynamically adjusted based on your responses. What makes a high performing leader?
Challenge
The customer had historically made several unsuccessful hires of this business-critical leadership role, leading to significantly decreased business performance. They realized it was a big leap to take on this leader role from current lower managerial roles.
The Talent Acquisition team were unsure of what makes a high performing individual in this leader role, leading to bad accuracy in recruitment.
Solution
The company decided to create a tailored recruitment profile for the leader role; a business-critical position in the company.
CohrEx Executive Functions, CohrEx Analytics, and CohrEx Personality was used to test current personnel.
Margin was the main KPI to measure performance, and adjustment were made for experience, KPI starting point, and geography, to minimize bias.
